Nottingham Library Trip, a set on Flickr.
We were met by a representative from the University’s International Office (an American herself) and taken to an executive suite opposite the Vice Chancellor’s office in the impressive Trent Building. Here Gail Armistead, Head of Study Abroad Programmes, gave us a brief welcome to the University together with a goodie bag of literature each. Two student ambassadors then led an extensive campus tour which included Trent Building, Dept of Education, Social Sciences, Science buildings, Portland Building (Student Union), a hall of residence and the main Hallward Library.
We ended up at the Lakeside Arts Centre where we had half an hour to view the impressive Lowry exhibition which had conveniently just opened that day.
